Default Crumb of biscuit in printer

I went round to a mates earlier tonight, and when we tried to print some cheats off for GTA3 we found his printer wasn't working - It screwed up the paper as it pulled it down and then printed at an angle.

Upon closer inspection I found a rather large crumb of biscuit jammed in by the rollers. Using tweezers, coctail sticks and a SE K750i after 20 mins we finally managed to remove all of it (took 3 15yr old boys to do it ). However, now the printer starts to pull down the paper, but then stops after pulling it for a couple of inches. The software reports an error, but nothing specific. Pressing the resume button on the printer does nothing, and the paper has to be pulled out from the paper tray end of the printer.

Stupidly I didn't write down the model of the printer, but I do know it's a Cannon. It's a bubblejet printer (as far as I can remember). What should we do next? Is it possible that we have broken it even moreso than before?

Thanks, Thomas
