i think its the cables for the monitor/keyboard/mouse.....

ok try this..take the pc (as it is in your home rite now including your monitor n keyboard n its cables) over to ur frends home n start the pc there.. n i mean take everything. dnt change any cables or the monitor or watever...

then let us know whats the mystery about ? does it still work or crashes?
