Default HD4850 or 9800GTX

I know many people have posted for help before but maybe you guys could help one more time.

I am going to build my new PC but I am stuck with what graphics card to get.

I will have:

Mobo: Asus P5B SE P965 (Not sure what defines a good Mobo so please help with this also if possible)
CPU: Intel E8400
RAM: 4GB 800Mhz
OP: Windows XP Home (I'm aware of the 3GB RAM limit)

I am stuck on between ATI and Nvidia since he ATI cards can give better performance for less money (VGA Charts - Crysis & Call of Duty 4), But my friends say that ATI don't have very good drivers.

Tomshardware hasn't got the new graphics cards on that I was going to get (ATI HD4850, HD4870 Or GF 9800GTX) I don't think. This Guru3D doesn't show what happens with AA turned on so info on this would be good also.

If anyone has any link to a good comparison website that has the newer cards on that shows AA on full etc. then please post it.
