i'll recommend you to overclock your proccesor i did the same with mine with superb results.

I'm using QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 originale on 266Mhz but i have overclocked my FSB to 360.0 MHz (original: 266 MHz) OverClock: 35%

and the system is 100% stable (tested with prime95) its at the moment 3,6 Ghz it will make your system a little bit faster
