    I'm not sure if Cogent has changed their prices at all but I know a while back you could get a 100mbps connection for the cost of a T1 line.

    They have their GigE product which would be interesting to see what it's priced at.

    And for what someone could do with a gigabit connection. Download all the porn available on the internet of course, who else besides a multi-national corporation would need that bandwith now .

    Do not underestimate the amount of pr0n on the internet. That kind of bandwidth would be good for someone trying to make people on slower internet connections feel bad.

    hahaha i know :-/ i have cable and love it but im moving back to my home state and the area i live in only have 56k!!! GASP!!!
