Default 2 Graphics cards question

I will have 2 7800gt in my comp, do they have to be set up to a monitor each for them to work or is there a connector for me to get to hook them up to the one monitor, the monitor is a tft flatscreen 19".

You want them in SLI?
SLI means using both cards to power 1 monitor for games, meaning more perfoemance, if you want to use 2 monitors then you dont have to have SLI enabled.
SLI is when 2 graphics cards (PCI-Express) are connected using a special bridge (should come with cards) to connect the two together, you can then enable SLI when you want to play games so that you get more power, you can use 2 monitors and then engage SLI (so one monitor shuts off) just for games.

SLI works by a small bridge connector which links the 2 cards together inside the case. Only the primary card connects to the monitor, the other one just helps with the workload.

You can of course use 2 monitors but thats optional.
