Hello, I just built my first system yesterday. Chaintech VNF4/ULTRA MB and AMD 3200+ Venice. Everything went great, IT ROCKS!! However I do have an issue that is driving me loony. The first few times I entered the bios everthing was normal. The MENU "PC Health Status" was reading cpu temp, system temp, voltages, fan speeds, etc as it should. Oh and btw CPU temp was 29 to 30C everytime I saw it. But now it doesn't give me anything, the only thing under PC Health Status is the choice of shutdown temps. 60, 65, 70c, etc. That's the only thing it shows. I have tried everything i can think of, I've flashed the bios to reset with the jumper, didn't work. I've powered it down, unplugged everything and powered it back up, same thing. If I had never seen these temps I would think it needed a bios update, but they were there so I don't think that's the problem. I will try it if anyone suggest but I've never done that before, kinda nervious about it, but I'm sure I can. Anway I've tried everything I can think of to get it to read temps, fan speed, voltages, etc like it should, nothing seems to work if anyone has any insight I would appreciate it. Otherwise the system rocks. After I loaded xp and all the drivers it screams. wooo hooo.
