Hi all,
yesterday I purchased a system having following core specs: 1) AM2 Athlon64 X2 4400+ (640KB+640KB CACHE 2.3Ghz) 2) MSI K9N NEO-F V2 - Socket AM2 3) 1+1 = 2 GB Corsair DDR2-667 Now, I want to purchase a 3d Card and I have only following options due to the BUDGET problems. So, please suggest me the best one according to my system specs from following: 1) Inno3d - GeForce PCX 8600GT 256MB (128-BITS) DDR-III I-CHILL LITE 2) XFX - GeForce PCX 8600GT 512MB (128-BITS) 3) HIS - ATI PCX 2600XT HD 512MB IFAN 128BITS DDR III Please suggest me a card from these above and that should be best compatible to my system specs. I think the 3rd option is best but as I am not a technical person so, I will highly appreciate your suggestions. thanks in advance. Esh Last edited by eshban; 10-04-2008 at 09:05 AM. |

Hi,
I would go with the XFX PCX 8600GT card. It may clock a little slower than the ATI but it seems to squeak out a bit more performance in the games as far as FPS. Either card would work and they are very similar in specifications. This site will let you compare the cards Compare Video Cards The other 8600 card performs pretty close to the XFX one as well, at least on the doom 3 test without the AA turned on
