Well, when I said "is that good" I was also reffering to my score of 6333? I mean how big is the scoring scale on 3DMark?

That does seem a little low. I had a P4 1.6A and a Radeon 8500LE that was hitting in the 8000's. I know the 9000's are rebadged, lower clocked 8500's, but even then...I'm wondering if you don't have your INF's installed...which could kill some performance.

BTW...

14,500 3DMark 2k1
Abit IS7-E
P4 2.4B @ 3.1GHz
PNY GF4 Ti4600

The Ti4600 is the bottleneck there, but it's always cool to have the actual scores in front of you.

My INF's? Those are chipset drivers right? I have not installed any of those. Where should I get these? I beleive I have an i845E chipset. Could not haveing those installed kill that much performance?

You can get them from your motherboard manufacturer, or alternately from Intel.

P.S. - Phlak Linuk - you h/\x0r, you

If you're a freak that must have the very last point in 3Dmark, yes. Otherwise, get them and you'll do yourself a favor.

My Computer

Alright I installed the drivers and stuff, but i didnt get that much an increase only about 100 points. but after a lot of tweaking in my bios I finnally got it above 7000 w0000! all I pretty much changed was the ram timings and my FSB. 18x156 (2.8Ghz) and my ram timings are 2-2-2-5... At least I think thats what they are... Is that any good?
