Default format

I did a search but could not find what I was looking for.

Here is what I am facing.
Dell dimension 3000, bought for the teens 6 months ago. It is just not working with the downloaded problems. I would like to format C drive and start over.

Basic computer.

Dell Demension 3000 *I have all the CD's that came with it.
Windows Xp
Celeron 2.40
C Drive
D drive CD-rom
E Drive CD-RW
***NO FLOPPY***

I have downloaded different boot disks, but since I have no floppy I have put them on CD. * different computer.

HOW do you format C drive?

I can change the BIOS boot sequence to load cd first and not c drive, but I still can not figure out how to type in format C and clean it out, like you would with a floppy.

This should be easy............................ but.

Thank you.
