AKG 240M, you served me well.

After a couple, maybe 3 years I've killed my AKG's. They were my favorite pair of headphones and I loved them to death. Well they did die. I'm pretty sure it's just from me blasting metal through them louder than I can play drums, but that's not the point. I need new headphones! I've had sennheiser on my thoughts for a while now since I'm very concerned with sound I'm also very picky

Any recommendations for headphones? I've been looking at some 5.1 surround headphones but I doubt their sound quality and I need some headphones that are very loud. How loud? I need my ears to be ringing.

I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force HPA surround headset. They are loud and the surround sound works quite well. They are wicked loud, I only turn them up half way. And they come with a really awesome quality mic.
