Question Animated signatures?

Hey all, I want to replace the crappy, blurry sig I'm using now with a cool one. The catch is I want to go all out and use rollovers and animation in Photoshop7.
I don't really feel like goofing around on my own to produce a sub-par product so could anyone walk me through how to create a flashy sig? I'm just looking to have my name fly in or something like that. Waffle, you seems to have an excellent grasp of how it's done but I don't think you used Photoshop to make yours right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It depends what sort of animation you want.

A scroll/scan line is surprisingly simple to do, providing you have photoshop 7 and imageready (thats what I use anyway).

I'll do a tutorial for ya all.

Thanks Waffle, I've got ImageReady too so that's good. I'll use my current sig as an example. Being new at this I think I'd like to try to get my name to drop down in the middle, pause, and then drop down off the canvas. It would be looping obviously, that doesn't sound too daunting. I'll await your tutorial for now.
