    Question Background music

    Hey!

I have had this small project going on - photographing a street for a year each month from the same perspective (well, more or less). I put those photos together in a .ppt where they fade over each other to show how things change over the seasons. What do you think would be some good background music for such a presentation?

Wow, that's quite a dramatic fanfare for a timelapse. I think something more subtle might be nice. For instance, you could take part of each theme from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, transitioning between them as the seasons change. Or something from Pachelbel might be nice as well. Barring that, both Jamendo and Magnatune have music licensed under the Creative Commons license, meaning you're free to use them for your project.

Pop? Well, there's plenty of that on both Jamendo and Magnatune if that's what you're after. I think it's cliche personally, but then again it's not my project.

I chose to add Coldplay. From the latest album - Viva la Vida. Fits quite good.
