I have an antec nine hundred
my motherboard is an Asrock 4CoreDual-Sata2 I can't get the firewire to work. I plugged the two identical plugs, one for usb the other for firewire, Does this mean I need an integrated firewire mobo for this feature to work?

Yes you do i'm afriad, its not a usb-to-firewire adapter. Gotta have the controller built into the mobo, or get a firewire pci/x card.
