Default cant uninstall Mcafee

i am trying to uninstall mcafee firewall and internet security suite from my parents laptop (dell with xp home), but get an error message saying part of the program is missing (this message appears on startup as well ) and suggest reinstalling.no disc is available. any ideas on what to do?

try add/remove programs instead of uninstalling it

should be in control panel

i did try add/remove programs and also the uninstaller in mcafee but no good, it seems to be part of the uninstaller that is missing

well.......open task manager(ctrl+alt_del) and and on processes

find and end everything ending up with "MC"yes i know this is a crazy and risky idea lol but it works because i fell in the same trouble and i could not uninstall it

after ending it all.... try and uninstall it

hope it will help you

btw thats the only bug in McAfee i have come across apart from it McAfee is the best.....
