Is there any decent capture software out that that can be used with your tv tuner to watch tv?, the software i got with the tv tuner is rubbish.

Are you talking analog or digital? And for what OS?

On Windows I used Showshifter, but I think they went bust

Do a Google search, I know there are loads of apps out there for Analog TV cards.

What brand is it?

i dunno, one called Tevion, but its actually a phillips.
i used to use showshifter, i liked it, but comp wouldent let it run anymore

Which version of Showshifter are you using?

Perhaps it will fix itself if you reinstall it?

BTW, if you are interested, I have a serial number for version 3.11. I bought it a few months before they went bankrupt. Anyway, I don't need it anymore as I use Linux/Kaffiene now.

I just popped over to ShowShifter's website. It appears the company is making a comeback!

Someone must have bought ShowShifter from Home Media Networks.
