Default cd/dvd media

JUts a quick question, if a disc gets water on it even if its only a little bit will this stop the cd from working as this happened to me and now the drive is saying theres no information on the disc

Thats unusual, allthough on some CD Packaging it does show not to put water on it, are you able to write any data to it?

I dnt know about CDR's but if any of my CD/DVD(Which is already recorded) doesnt work properly then i put it under tape and clean it. It works for me always...

tried that it says that its not a blank cd, no a bit of water from a vase spilled on it

sorted it guys, i tried r6v and that wouldnt read so i restarted the pc and everything was fine. thanks anyway

Try erasing it with a program such as nero, or a free one called Deepburner.
