Default CD-RW deleted all files automatically

Hi,
I already had some files on my RW disc and i wanted to put some more photos on it. So when i clicked write these files to the disc all the files i had previously disappeared and i assume they were deleted. Is there anyway to get these files back please because the disc contained important information.

Thanks Attom36

They were almost certainly deleted, and no, you can't get them back.

are you sure you didn't rewrite the whole disc instead of adding on?

Check your burning application to see if it's set to format the disc before every burn, if it is set to this unfortunatley your out of luck.

The only way to get the files back if the disc has been formatted is sending it to a data recovery center, which I'm guessing will probably set you back easily $5-10K.
