Default Changing letters

my main hdd is drive "I" and i need it to be "C" my computer assigned "c" to a built in SD/MMC reader i have... how can i change the letters?

My Computer

In disk management;
Right click on My Computer > Manage > Disc Management, there you can assign the letters you want to your disc~!

i tried that and i get a message "windows cannot modify the drive letter of your system volume or your boot volume" so i cant change it right?

Unless you want to reinstall Windows, yes. If you did, you'd have to make sure the hard drive you're installing Windows to is the Primary Master or simply unplug all other drives until you complete the Windows install.

nah im not gonna reinstall but it sucks cuz everytime i try installing something it always looks at drive c and then i have to change it to "i" and make a new path and everythin... its gay u kno wut i mean? thanks anywas though, thanks for the help

try using a registy editor to find and replace "C:/" with "I:/" so the default install folder would be "I:/Program Files/" not "C:/Program Files/
