Hello!
A while ago I bought a NVIDIA graphics card that has HDMI out, but unfortunately it only transmits the video signal over HDMI. To get an audio signal through, I need to connect my mobo to it with an SPDIF cable. Unfortunately, my standard dell mobo doesn't have an internal spdif header. So, I need a cheap PCI sound card (like 20 bucks and under). I don't want anything fancy, just something with an internal SPDIF header. I would prefer if the card had like 5 channels, but if it's only a 2 channel I can live with it. 7.1 is overkill for what I'm going to be using it for. Please only reply if you are ABSOLUTELY sure that it has internal SPDIF. I had a yahoo answers listing and someone told me of a sound card that looked like it had a header on it but 20 bucks later it didn't. And I'm not talking about external SPDIF, I mean the two prongs on the inside of the card. Thank you! |
