Whenever i extract something Via WinRar, Winzip or Even a Self extracting program, it seems to say thing's are corrupt.
It dosn't seem to matter what type of file it is Extracting, for example today i tried Extracting the Foo Fighter's new album. And most tracks wouldn't extract because they are 'Corrupt'. Only thing is, all the same thing's I have extracted on a computer at my Second home, and they are not corrupt there. So it has to be something with this computer and it is Brand new, well 30 days old to be procise. Windows XP. Has anyone any idea's about how to sort this? I'm no good at fixing hardware/software problems. Only know how to use the thing. Thanks, Dave. |

First do an AV scan and test for any malicous programs like spyware.
Grisoft Free AV and Spybot search and destroy.

There would be no point, these same problem's occured when i first got the computer and it had no type of Internet access.
Another thing it has a similar Corrupt problem with is Disc's. I tried installing Ultima Online for myself and The Sims for my little sister. The same sort of corrupt message is displayed upon installation. |
