Exclamation Crash constantly with ATI Radeon x700 AGP 256

Hello !
I have just buy a complete PC with this components
AMD Sempron 2500+ 64 bit
Mother MSI K8TNeo V 754
RAM 1 GB 400 Mhz Kingstom
HD 80 GB SATA Western Digital
ATI RADEON Sapphire x700 AGP 256 MB

First of all I installed WinXP SP2 and the standar XP drivers that

installs automatically since the first boot. No problem at all. Then I

installed the mothers drivers...evrything OK.... and finally the original drivers that

cames with the box. Then It starts the blacks screens lasts 2 seconds aprox

and back to windows. Sometimes nevers come back (Big Crash) Sometimes

happens ..black screen...2 secs...windows said it occurs and error with

ati2dvag driver.This problem appears any time during normal usage of

windows. I couldn`t try any 3D game !. Sometimes it starts with only a

click on the Internet explorer.
Then I format again...WinXP SP2 clean install and try with the lastest

drivers that are in www.ati.com. But the problem is still there.
Now, I only can use Windows, if i uninstall x700 radeon drivers.
I don`t now what else can do...............Please help !
What do you think ? Is this a hardware problem ?
Ah, I also try to lower the monitor Freq but it doesn`y solve anything
Any comments would be appreciatte !

I`m using Codegen 400 W

Now I install the sapphire box drivers and works fine but a resolution of 8 bit and 640*480

Sometimes appears and error with cli.exe file

I'm not sure but the codegen PSUs are of poor quality. It cost me my whole rig as I had the same PSU as you. I'd replace it with a quality brand form Antec or Thermaltake soon before it dies.

Problem solved !!

I install the original ati drivers (not the last ones) but without the Catalyst programs..only the driver. And now is working excelent !!!!!!

This radeon rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
