hi,
im new too this forum and i have no idea how many times this queston has been asked. im after a decent AGP graphics card for playing games on, im on a tight budget so i dont want to be spending my life savings on a new graphics card. ATM im playing battlefield 2, half-life 2, MoH spearhead, delta force :black hawk down, CS: source and i think that is about it, i would like to be able to play all these on full graphics, battlefield 2 especialy. my system spec atm is: amd 64 3400+ 1gb pc3200 asrock k8 combo-z <- motherboard 500w psu gainward 5600 agp nvidia graphics card. i can play spearhead on full graphics with a decent fps with this card, but its not a very demanding game. half-life 2 i can play on medium graphics fine. battlefield 2 i can play on low/medium graphics, but this is my favourite game atm so i would like to be able to play it on medium/full grapics. so im after an AGP graphics card that will be able to play battlefield 2 on medium/full graphics without having to break the piggy bank. its been suggested that the ati 9800 pro would do the job, but im doubtful of that . im quiet interested in the ati x800 or nvidia 6800. you guys got any suggestions? thanks a bunch Jason |

I'd suggest a 6600GT. They're not the best, I don't think you wanna pay 500+ dollars for a card but they beat down 9800 pro's and only cost a little more.

im thinking you should probably go with a geforce 6800
heres one for £95.00 http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=98265 it is 25 MHz faster core clock than the LE and 4 more pixel pipelines, from what i understand the LE is a toned down version of this. |
