dosnt see dvd

my dvd+rw drive stopped detecting dvds. cd work fine but dvds have nothing can anyone help

which dvd writer is it? is there anything you could have done since this started to happen? like install a new burning software?

check the connections at the back of the device just incase ther loose. the other thing you could try in cheking the regional settings on ur drive incase theyve gone wrong (post back if you want instructions on this). the other thing you could try is a cd/dvd cleaning kit that u can get for bou 1 pound now and run that to clean the lense/ hope this helps Dave
