I'm not quite sure what you mean but if you want your website to expand with the browser you need to set the table width to 100%.

Ive just started web design so im learning very fast (but seemingly so slow) and ive subsequently found out that the very question is really a stupid one. I know what tables are but have no clue how to make my site with them.

Has anyone got any links to good tuts using PhotoshopCS2>Imageready>Dreamweaver8 that deal with tables and the actual process of building a page with tables.

sorry about the stupid question. We all have to start somewhere...

I wrote a series of tutorials on Photoshop / Dreamweaver on how to build a site with expanding tables.

They're on here:

http://www.hardwareforums.com/simple...art-1-a-13750/
http://www.hardwareforums.com/simple...art-2-a-13751/
http://www.hardwareforums.com/simple...art-3-a-13753/

My site (matt-brunt.com) is no longer up so the images don't work - I'll possibly move them if I get time at home (Uni blocks cPanel access - I could use FTP I suppose...)
