My Computer

Default First WU, and my last...

I just completed my first WU, and then checked what my next one was. See the screenshot and see if you are as stunned as I was...

You also might want to grab the console version of F@H. It uses less resources.

With the console, nothing seemed to be happening. I got past the config page, and it said I was on 0/5000 frames. And then about an hour later nothing had changed on the screen. Also, is it ok to close the program or does it have to be minimized?

Yours is going way too slow. a 5000 frame WU on a 2.8ghz prescott shouldn't take much more than 2-3 weeks folding. Make sure you've put the cpu usage to 100%.

I redownloaded it, and now it's working at 1 frame every 5 seconds, on a 5000 frame WU.

Yeah my WU end is always ridiculously high at first. It changes but mine runs a few frames in an hour

Well i've taken F@H off for the moment, mine goes so slow and i don't know why.. but none the less, i'll put it on some time soon, i've got enough low-end systems running it for the moment.

1 Frame every 5 seconds?

That means that a 5000 frame WU will take you just under 7 Hours, that can't be right.. that's incredibly fast.. my AMD64 3200+ (2GHZ) is now doing 1 frame every 4 minutes.

but 5 seconds!???? u gotta be kidding me.. if ur doing 1 every 5 seconds and thats a 5000 frame WU not a standard 400 Frame WU, you'll cream everyone in a matter of about 1 week. EASILY.

Whats with that!? *confused*

It's on 7.9 seconds whilst I'm listening to music and photoshopping.

I've done 1250 frames since 11:00am this morning and thats with 2 hours of CS.

9 hours to go at this rate!

How is your system doing 1 frame every 8 Seconds? I can understand urs would be faster than mine as im only running cpu at default clock speeds: 2040mhz, but still an extra 800mhz wouldn't make that big amount of difference..
