Does downloading anime months, even years before it is released in North America sound appealing to you? What if it's lovingly subtitled by volunteers and professionally packaged in DivX format videos? Oh yeah, it's also free and legal, since the animation is not yet licensed in North America.

If any of this sounds attractive, head over to After 2000 Anime. They've been one of my favorite sources of free fansubs for years now, and they're still going strong with many well-seeded BitTorrent dowloads.

I'm watching the series "Monster" I found on one of those links... Weird, but good so far. Anyway, please remember to leave your BitTorrent client open until it reaches at least a 1:1 download to upload ratio! Happy leaching!
