Adonthell

http://adonthell.linuxgames.com/

"At first sight, everything looks peaceful on the island of Adonthell. But Tomas Hterin's verse has become true in a way that no one would ever have expected. Now there is an urgent need for someone to take a light into the darkness and stand where even those of greater wisdom failed." Adonthell is a free graphical roleplaying game which is similar to the console RPGs many of us grew up playing. Great soundtrack on this one! Runs on Linux, BSD, Solaris, BeOS5, MacOS X, and Windows.

PlaneShift

http://www.planeshift.it/

"...a persistent world in a fantasy setting, in which every player will create his character and will be able to live, explore, and interact with maximum realism. The player will start his journey in Yliakum, a big underground city with different races, factions, guilds, adventures, and many unexplored places. But the thirst for glory and knowledge has no boundaries. Beyond Yliakum, concealed by the Bronze Doors, the Stone Labyrinths, the unknown Kadaikos, homeland of Lemurs, and the legendary Pradesha - ruled by the enlightened Ahrijani - wait to be discovered. And much more..."

Planeshift is a free, open-source, 3D, multiplayer, online roleplaying game. It currently works on Linux (and probably the BSDs), MacOS X, and Windows.

Jump 'n Bump

http://www.icculus.org/jumpnbump/

A multiplayer platform game played by cute little bunnies. Awww! The objective is simple: jump on your opponent, causing them to explode in a flurry of blood and gore. Cute! It can be played via network, or by up to four players on the same keyboard. Jump 'n Bump was originally written for DOS, but has been ported to Windows, Linux, BSD, BeOS and perhaps others.

ZSNES

"ZSNES is a Super Nintendo emulator programmed by zsKnight and _Demo_. On April 2, 2001 the ZSNES project was GPL'ed and its source released to the public. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and DOS. Remember that this is a public beta so don't expect this to run on your machine."

Hands-down the best SNES emulator.

Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe

"Hidden and Dangerous represents the new breed of tactical, real-life, first-person shooters. During World War II from 1943 to 1945, your four-man commando squad has been assigned to infiltrate dangerous enemy territory. Over 23 campaigns, you'll face deceptively challenging AI as you use your arsenal of real-world weapons to put and end to this threat. This FULL FREE GAME contains the original award-winning Hidden & Dangerous, the Devil's Bridge expansion pack, plus the game editor."

To gather attention to the recently released sequel, Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe has been released for free in its entirety. This game requires Windows 98 or later, or runs perfectly in Cedega on Linux.

GTA - Wild Metal - GTA2

"Respect is everything. In 1999, Rockstar Games and Rockstar North (then known as DMA Design) furthered the groundbreaking gameplay concepts established just two years prior in the original Grand Theft Auto - with the release of GTA2. GTA2 expanded on the top-down, open-ended crime world gameplay formula with a host of new features including the advent of multiple rival gangs – seven, to be exact, including the Yakuza, Scientists, Looneys, Rednecks, Zaibatsu, the Russian Mob and Hare Krishnas. Earn your respect with each gang. Reap the benefits with all manner of shady work-for-hire gigs contracted your way. And climb your way to the top of the criminal pile.

Now, longtime Grand Theft Auto fans can revisit this classic entry in the series - and new jacks who missed out on this early franchise title can further discover Grand Theft Auto’s roots - absolutely free. GTA2 has been completely optimized for play on modern PCs and is available gratis for all registrants to the Rockstar Games mailing list (rest assured your information will not be shared with any third parties, you will only receive information from Rockstar). Simply fill out the form below and check your email for a direct link to the file (353 MB .zip file, includes install .exe, readme .txt file, and a .pdf of the original PC game manual)."

Grand Theft Auto 1, Wild Metal, and Grand Theft Auto 2 -- all full-version, all free to download. These are Windows games, although both GTA games run perfectly in Linux using Cedega.
