My Computer

Default Gemini II

<brag>

I installed one of these on Sunday:

Cooler Master Gemini II Socket 775939754AM2 Copper CoreHeatpipe CPU Cooling Fan RR-CCH-ANU2-GP at TigerDirect.com

I had it sitting around for about two weeks, since I never got the two 120mm fans. Well I got the fans, two 120mm Coolermasters, 1200 RPM, Blue LED, 22 Decibals... I also added two of these same fans to my case.

This thing kicks ass!

Using the stock cooling, my Athlon 64 X2 6000+ was running at about 45 degrees idle, and around 65 - 70 full load. With the new cooler + the 120mm fans, my CPU is running at 33 degrees idle, and 55 degrees full load. My comp is really quite now, to!

Nice! I have the same chip as you but my stock idle and full loads are around 30/55 anyway

You sure you had your stock HS insalled correctly?

Wow, those are cool temps... from what I've read the 6000+ runs HOT. And yeah, I installed the stock HSF correctly - I think
