GM Shares Close Under $10.00 a Share

.... this is horrible, those are junk shares, anybody with any kind of money could buy up GM right now. I mean, its the face of the changing world currently, and its only going to continue, until they start making more economical vehicles, but yeah, thats scary. It saw that on the news this morning and about choked on my cereal.... Yeah, worst part is, GM is pretty much Michigan's economy, and its already horrible, this is just going to make it worse.

Why is it scary? It seems to me that it's a poorly run company who's shareholders are now paying the price.

its scary because its just the state of things, GM is a HUGE company, and is a large part of various US economies, so its just unsettling.

Yeah, GM is huge, and the state of Michigan is a major part of the auto industry. Up there, people are walking away from their homes...it's that bad.

While the management aspect of things isn't to be ignored, you can't ignore the fuel prices making a new car purchase less appealing. I believe Ford is doing worse, but still, it's not good.
It's like if there was an issue with corn and soybeans in Indiana not selling.
