Default Graphic card troubles

Ok, i got a 256 Mb ATI Radeon 9550. Somone told me to unistall the drivers then update them to get a game working. When i turned it back on the screen was blank. So i plugged the cable into my 64Mb intergrated graphics card still was blank. Restored PC with cable in intergrated graphics and it won't let me install my decent card it says restart then nothing happens, when i plug it in, it goes blank. My intergrated graphics card won't doesn't seem to work either as an error message comes up when i play a game about direct 3d. My intergrated graphics card comes with a Packard Bell IMedia 3050.

Can anyone help? Any help would be useful, Cheers!

Hi!

the error message that comes up when trying to play a direct 3d game with your intergrated graphics might be down to the game ont surrporting your intergrated graphics chip.

as i said before, i dont know if your tried it though, restore your pc WITH your monitor plugged into your radeon 9550, and boot windows xp install from the cd and dont boot up windows xp install inside of windows.

if youve installed your intergrated graphics again, go to desktop, then right click, select properties, settings, advanced, then adaptor, now click on properties. then on device usage click, do not use this device (disable) in the drop down menu, restart your pc, with the monitor then plugged into the radeon 9550, see if this helps
