Default Is this graphic card worth to buy?

Hello guys!

First, I want to say that my computer experiences are very low, so I really need your backup.

My son's computer does not reach the requirements to play some games such as Doom 3, Battlefield 2and counter-strike. Sometimes its lagging etc.

I found this graphic card on an e-store.
Gecube ATI Radeon X1600PRO 256MB Gamer Edition (GC-RX1600PGA2-D3) - TV-Ut (AGP) The price was ok.. But now I need your help.

With this graphic-card, is it possible to play BF2, D3, and Counter-strike smoothly without having a low-detail settings? Now I'm running a card called Geforce 6600GT 128mb AGP, but I have to play on low-detail settings, and I got 40-80 fps in Counter-strike.

The computer:
3,2 GHZ P4
1GB RAM
Geforce 6600GT 128mb
80GB HDD.

Thanks for help!
//Michael

My Computer

Pretty much what the above poster said. The X1600Pro is pretty similar to the Radeon X700Pro, maybe a little faster here and there, but not much. The X700 series was competing against the GeForce 6600's. The 6800 or Radeon X800 series would be the best choice.
