Default Graphics issue

Ok so for a long time i've had this issue with graphics.. lines would appears around things, and make them look nasty.. i've just got a new graphics card and the same thing is still happening.. now i'm pretty sure it's something i can tweak in the drivers but i have no idea what..

What i have done is fraps'd the problem and uploaded it for you to look at, as someone should be able to identify what i mean.. please view the video in full screen to see the problem more clearly.. thanks for anyone who attemps to help!

P.S Look at the car and surrounding object edges.

Graphics card: ATI HD4870 GDDR5

if you mean the parts that look like a moving dotted line, then i would suggest you download the latest driver from ATI or the card manufacturer, then try tweaking

Thanks for your response.

No official drivers have yet been released for the HD4870 cards, but there is a hotfix for them.

I've tried tweaking lots, but no luck.

well, realistically,i'd say you have 2 options
  • wait until the drivers are "officially" released then tweak
  • keep tweaking things like the stuff on here

BTW: i'm not good with gfx cards, probably why i didn't know the drivers weren't released yet

My Computer

I've seen a similar thing somewhere before, but for the life of me I can't remember where...

I didn't think anything of it at the time, however.
