Default ibm webcam

hi i can't getmy ibm webcam to work on my pc with winxp pro.not sure if i have the right drivers .and if not where to get them any help here thanks.

Just google the make and model of the webcam to get the drivers

ok found the drivers and installed them and followed the info.but i get cam not
installed even when it's in the usb port .i tried differant ports and still the
same message.i know the ports work because i try other things in them and they work.also drivers said they are for this cam and os.

Are there any sounds when you plug the webcam in? Sometimes usb devices take 30 secs or so to register in windows.
How is it you going to use the webcam? If your not using My Computer its worth keeping an on it because it will pop up there.

no sounds nothing .have left in for awhile.also tried two differant cams.
drivers install but cams won't

Try rebooting with the webcam plugged in and if nothing happens have a look in device manager.

tried that .also no problen showing in device manager.but also the cam doesn't
show there either.maybe the cams when bad can't see why .

Does the cable definatly work ok.
Its a pain in arse when this happens! I had a IR adapter which was the same.

sorry yes if i plug in my digi cam it works and my small flash drive will work.just the cams won't work.

i tried both i have ,one ibm web cam and the other is an wee cam by alaris
tried the driver for both and still nothing .may just be the cams but they both worked before.

Try This... Uninstall the drivers(Add Remove Program or Device Manager; whereva u find them) > Unplug your webcam > Restart your computer > Install the drivers again > Then plug your webcam with your computer.... See if works like this.
