I get this error message when i boot up my computer. It is a new computer that I have just built, P5B Mobo, E6600 C2D.
I have already searched on several forums and their advice is usually to update the BIOS, but as my mobo is new I don't see how this applies to me. Does anyone have any thoughts on my problem? |

Well, I do know that the initial releas BIOS had some problems, but Asus has released a new version in the past few weeks or so. Unfortunately, the P5B's out there ship with the older BIOS, so, given some of the problems of the P5B's first BIOS version, it would certainly be worth your while to update it.
Now, the only thing in the way would be if the BIOS is hanging on this error and not proceeding forward to boot and/or not allowing you to get into BIOS. |
