I have moved into a house with roomates which I share internet with, however we are having trouble with downloads, someones downloading too musch.

I was wondering if there was any way to stop or allocate us a certain download limit.

We use a wireless negear router.

My Computer

your basic router won't allow you to assign limits, I think what you need is a router with QOS control or you can take advantage of the WRT project. DD-WRT :: News

are you using the same computer? if you are, you can use Netmeter to monitor the downloads.

Hi

I am more intrested in monitoring the downloads of my room mates.

I just want to be sure each of us is using the internet fairly.
Is there anything that will allow me to do this.
The router that I received was from Virgin, a Netgear router.

Will this router allow me to do this.

Thx
