Hi
I hope somebody can help me our here. I accidentally dropped my laptop, (not far). Now the system will not power up, or even power up the CPU fan. When connected to the mains, the system power light comes on, and also indicates its charging the battery,as well. But when the power button is pressed, nothing. Also when the mains power is removed, and battery inserted, when the power button is pressed, 3 light breifly light up, the HDD, DVD, and one other, then go out. If I hold my ear very close to the unit, I can here a very faint electrical buzz, that does off when the power button is released. I have dismantled the system completely, removed and replaced the CPU, and memory, to no avail. I suspect the M/B to be damaged beyond repair, but would welcome any advice. The unit is a toshiba 1130 Z24 rgrds Chris |

You're going to have to get a technician to have a look inside it. Doesn't sound good though.
