Laptop to Desktop conversion?

hi my old laptop died, but i need to get the data from the laptops h/d to my pcs so i was wondering if its possible to buy a converter so that i can plug it into my desktop?

Yes it is possible to buy converters for 2.5" drives (laptop hard drives), i would suggest a USB enclosure (so you can use your 50GB for moving files around after you have copied your pictures off!).

Hard Drives - Notebook, Hard Drives - Internal, Hard Drives - External, Flash & USB Memory, Drive Enclosures, Card Readers, MicroDirect.

I would suggest the cheapest one on that page, they all do the same thing
