laptop keyboard problem

hi .. i am having a wierd problem with my laptop keyboard. some of the keys just dont want to work. all of a sudden they stop working and suddenly they start working again. can anyone tell me what can be wrong??? i have run the dell diagnostics CD several times and it doesn't show anything wrong. only when i start using the system, this shows up.

Is it always the same keys that stop working, or is it different keys everytime ?

Because if it's always the same, maybe the keyboard is just dying, although I've never seen that.

its the same keys all the time!!!!!!!

Well I'd try uninstalling the keyboard from the device manager, then reboot and let windows redetect it.
