Default Low Cost Data input controller/mini terminal?

Hey m8's,

New to the forums, and just had a question, maybe ya'll could help me out!

I am looking for a keypad, with an led or lcd screen, or even a lite that lights up that has the capabilities of storing number sequences for example.....1234567891912

I need this device to store these sequences.

Also this device must be able to upload the data from device to a pc via usb, or have a removable flash memory card to do so.

It just needs a keypad, some type of memory(preferable flash), and a lcd, led, or some type of lite that can communicate to the memory on the device and/or the keypad

Do you have any suggestions.

Ive seen the Genovation devices, they seem to be a little out of the price range for this project.

Could someone please help me out here

Thanks!

It doesn't need to come programmed, I merely need the hardware that is capable of doing what i've listed above, I will be writing the firmware for the device and software to carry out the function i'm needing it to carry out.

Because of the volume I will need, I need it to be pre-built, and obivously come from a source that can renew it...in other words it's gotta be a product.

Can someone please guide mje? Or, if you know a more appropriate or specific forum for this type of thing, could you guide me, I'd be super grateful for just about anything!

Thanks, and please help a guy out.

Welcome to the forums!

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke.../3498&cl=us,en

that is a keyboard designed for recording game-macros which are usually just key sequences, that might be able to do what you need
