yeah, generally onboard sound is not good, they have onboard sound just so they can say "multimedia included" but believe me that is crap
BTW: although i don't have much experience with sound cards i think the audigy is quite good & the audigy2zs is just a trimmed down version of the audigy, it probably only has less software included with it @ferg: thank you for removing the swear word

yeah the audigy2zs is actually pretty good. but if anyone has any ideas on how to get the x-fi working then let me know. compared to the x-fi the audigy2zs is awful
