Exclamation Mini DVD-rw disk not getting read

Hello,

I have got mini dvd-rw disk with 2.8gb capacity which i use with my sony handycam. in my pc i have got a lg dvd rw drive. the above mentioned dvd disk is not getting read in my drive and showing it as blank cd and not a dvd, but in actual there is video data recorded from handycam. i want to know that is my rw drive not reading the disk because of any problem because it cannot read that kind of disk and if this is the case then which rw-drive will read such dvd disks

thanks

My Computer

Do you know if your handycam needs to 'finalise' the video before it can be read by another reader? I only say this as VCR's with DVDR drives in them have to finalise before they can be read.

Does the disk work in any other computers/stand-alone players?

In that case I would definitely read the manual about how to export the video to PC.

Best of luck.
