Default Monitor help

Hi

I have two different monitors in a Dual Display. ONe is a Hanon L-1715 TFT and one a Dell E171FPb TFT. FIrst of all are these good monitors. Second of all the colours and shades are different. I edit videos and this can be annoying. is there any way of me getting the quality of these displays a lot better and the same? Also my Hanon monitor makes a horrible hissing sound when turned on. It comes from the speakers that are currently not in use that are built into it. When the monitor is not connected to the computer but has power going to it, it does not make a hissing noise. What is wrong there?

Thanks

well not real sure on why the speakers make the noise, but its probably just static or something from the small amount of power that it gets from startup and if it doesn't doesn't happen all the time i wouldn't worry about. Also, you could mess with the screen color and all that from the graphics driver menu, but i wouldn't really recommend it, and to be honest, the only real for sure way of fixing the issue is to get two of the same monitors, as thats why people with dual displays rate next to each other, are all the same model.

Well, the monitor doesn't make any noise when its not connected because it doesn't have a signal going to it, and theres no picture, but that shouldn't effect the speakers at all. Honestly, i just think that the speakers are defective.

Hi
I just fixed the monitor last night. It had volume at 30 which I never noticed before. I turned it to 0 and it makes no noise now. It is excellent.
