Default Monitor not responding (sometimes)

I have a problem with my computer witch seems to be a technical one. Fourteen days after I bought the computer I started it but the monitor does not respond. On background you can hear that Windows start is normal (sounds Windows logo and everything). I stop the computer from start button and start it again.

I have repeated this about 30 times but every time was the same? After this I opened the cover of VGA and CPU and I removed VGA and put it back on place. Next start was OK. After start Windows advise me that my “display settings are changed to low” but the display was still on 1280 x 800. The next day same thing happened. This time removing of VGA did not help. After 20 restarts monitir become alive again. Crazy story.

Also the main fan is borrowing me because it works in cycles. Every 2 seconds start and stop. I know that Clevo is low quality manufacturer but even for them, I believe this is not normal. Some times when I keep computer on (as I mentioned already everything but the monitor working OK) the monitor blinks in light grey.

After monitior blinks like this if I try restart everything goes normal. Computer starts normal. For about 1 day ( even I turn off and on again) things going fine. Once things were ok for about a week but always this moment come – upon start monitor stays black, not only black but not responding at all.

One more thing: On the bottom there is another (small) fan. I saw this fan working only two times for 3 months. When this fan working, the big one working normal (continuously).

After some time (for example 10 min.) small fan stops and the big one becoming crazy again. Somebody told me that small fan cooling RAM memory. I don’t know for sure.

Please excuse My bad English and help me. Thanks in advance.

My Computer

If you've only had it 14 days, I'd talk to them about getting them to fix it or send you a new one. I am assuming that you have some sort of warranty here, and if you do, there's no reason not to take advantage of it.

It sounds like something's overheating, and it's probably the video card. Unfortunately, it's not just something you can swap out (in most cases, some high-end gaming laptops offer this). I have no problems with people tinkering with their laptops, but if you've got a warranty on a product, take it in, especially when it's malfunctioning a couple of weeks right after you purchased it.
