I have a laptop computer and an external monitor that I want to connect to act as a dual monitor. The only problem is, I don't have a power cord to power the monitor! I need a cheap power cord that will connect directly to the outlet in the wall, not the computer. Does anybody know where I can find one?

If you're talking about the cables with 3 pins encased in a small rectangular casing then you can find them quite easily. Can't remember what they're called though.
