Default Motherboard not working, asus contact question...

My motherboard stopped working (I have safely narrowed it down to the motherboard by testing the other hardware); and I can't seem to find a 1-800 number on the asus site for Canada. I would like to call them to arrange for it to be RMA'd however, it seems that I can only find phone numbers with the their local area code (which I assume will cost money, correct me if im wrong). I don't have a land-line and only use a cellphone, so it would be really expensive for me to sit on the phone with them for a long period of time if I am being charged long distance...

Does anyone know of how I can get in contact with them on a toll free line?

Thanks!

Hi, I'd suggest you email them instead of phoning.

Check this link....

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

And use the "Motherboard and General Product Support" form, click to get it.

You will need to make initial contact first, to apply for an RMA.

There is an RMA email there too, just below Motherboard one.

Hope this speeds up your repair for you.

Cheers, Glenn

I think it can be a long time than phoning. Normally people are on the support team not too active at every time.
