Question my computer prints out little squares

My computer is connected to a router that shares a printer with another computer. When I try to print something all that comes out is a bunch of little squares. When I try printing the same thing on the other computer it comes out ok. I am running WINXP SP2. Does somebody know what can be done to fix this problem. Please help if you can. Thank You

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Yeah, printer drives would be the first thing I'd check.

What program are you printing from? (MS Word, Notepad, WordPerfect, etc...)

Are you printing anything that is not simple ANSI characters (ASCII extended)?

yeah, print drivers, but i'd try finding some updated ones, so uninstall current drivers then install new drivers or just install new drivers over the top of old drivers

Hey Dave, its been 2 months. I dont think that this problem still exists. So its good not to waste time on finding something which is not worth to anyone.
