Default My Setup :P

Anyway here are some photos of my rig and desk area e.t.c

There are pictures of both my Antec P160 (the one in use) and my newly built AMD64 Rig.. Bare in mind, i have tried to keep the wiring as neat and well managed as i could without anything other than limited cable ties..

Also Antec P160 (case on floor with lights) is sold and is awaiting pickup later this week.. (i'll package it the night before, atleast i get full use of a working pc till then!)

Check em out:

Second pic of Desk Pix is not working!

Nice setup though could do with tidying up (I mean the PC on the desk?), hehe. I will post my system once I get the chance to tidy up the wires...

My Computer

The pc was only on the desk because it's where i build me pc's, maintain, upgrade e.t.c

And i had been tidying up the wires, (i realise that they are still not as neat as they could be) but i tidied them up as best as possible without any proper cable wrap.

nice setup but damn. The rear fan grill looks painfull. You should cut it out. Your temps will drop prolly 2-3 degrees and the noise will drop too. Also, clean up the wires. The 20-pin ATX power cable is laying right over the CPU fan blocking its air flow.

Overall, schweet now just get a video card and youll be right there next to me on the scoreboard.

My Computer

I've moved the 20Pin ATX out of the way of the HSF (so its nearer the back of the case towards the fan grill)

The Fan Grill I have Cut Out.. Although it will need cleaning up when i can get some good blades for my mini metal cutting saw (as its got abit of sharp metal as i cut it)

I've added alot of cable wrap around the majority of my wires, although i will need abit more, but its looking alot neater than before

Will post pix asap.

Sweet cases ProcalX, I'm assuming your AMD64 is the silent machine right? I like the mesh grill in the front too. Regarding your first Desk pic, I wonder if there are actually any benefits of setting your PC on its side, I had to laugh when I say that, it looked like it was sick or something. That would be a cool study, try repositioning your computer to find how to get the maximum performance. I bet if you stuck you rig in the 'fridge nothing could hold you back.

First off sticking your computer in your fridge would be very dangerous, as you would build a considerable amount of condensation and damp up inside the case.

Second of all, the computer is merely on it's side because i was making changes to it and it wouldn't make a blind sight of difference to performance.. lol
