My Computer

Arrow My VGA card is misbehaving

Hi, my card (nvidia geforce 5700le) somtimes does not display anything after the windows xp boot screen.

I say sometimes cuz sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. It seems to have something to do with the case being moved or disturbed. It always works in Safe Mode and in Enable VGA mode so i figured it must have something to do with drivers. But then again i have tried three diferent drivers including the original one and the latest one.

It will always work if i reinstall drivers. So that is what makes the whole thing more complicated and confusing.

Pls help i hate geting to a lan or turning on my pc and having to try fix it before i can do anything.

if you have moved or disturbed your case then i'd start with reseating the grafx card and RAM, if you don't have an antistatic strap just touch an exposed metal part of the case every minute of so (to discharge static)
