Default N73V compatibility issues

Hi !
I have a Nvidia N73V motherboard and a Samsung SyncMaster 923NW 19" TFt monitor. The NVIDIA GeForce7050/nForce 610i motherboard drivers are conflicting in some manner with the drivers of the monitor. It sets the screen resolution at 800 * 600 and the color quality at 4 bit and it cannot be changed. When I uninstall the display adapter of Nvidia, it takes VGA adapter which I think is the default in Win XP. The VGA adapter gives better quality however the display quality is still sub -optimal. If anyone knows anything about this , please help by posting a reply.

Regards
Jupitus
